A permanent anti-slip
treatment, tested to
international standards.
Our anti-slip treatment dissolves a controlled amount of silica to create thousands of microscopic indentations below the surface. When the floor is wet those indentations act as suction cups — the water is squeezed out as your foot starts to slide, and the slide stops.
Slip resistance
A coefficient of friction of 0.60 or above is the minimum accepted by UL, ASTM, OSHA, ADA and the UK HSE pendulum test. Figures shown are typical results on glazed ceramic.
